At Therapeutic Bodywork, our work must be rooted in trust, professionalism, and ethical responsibility.
Because bodywork involves physical care, nervous system regulation, and personal well-being, the structure in which services are offered matters deeply.
Clear boundaries are not just a business practice—they are a form of client protection and integrity.
This message is shared to affirm our standards and clarify what ethical care looks like within an established practice.
The importance of ethical professional conduct
Therapeutic Bodywork operates as a professional business. Sessions provided under this practice are offered within a defined structure that includes:
• Clear business representation
• Transparent communication
• Proper insurance and liability coverage
• Respect for client
Ethical professionalism means that services provided through this practice remain clearly associated with this practice, this avoids other business, staff conflict, questions on integrity and business ethics.
Clarity around business representation
Clients deserve to know which business is responsible for their care. We have our mother company called Channeling the Divine with Pauline a Sacred Mystery of Healing which governs the ongoing professionalism and standards of this practice.
In addition., It is not considered ethical practice for a practitioner to redirect or solicit clients away from the business under which their session was booked, particularly when the client relationship was established through that practice unless it is within the business relationship of the above mentioned company.
Maintaining clear boundaries between separate places of employment or independent work is a professional ethical obligation—not a personal preference.
Why this matters
Our responsibility is to ensure that every client and relation feels supported with integrity and professionalism and the business model is respected—not influenced, or redirected, or placed in an uncomfortable position.
When boundaries are unclear, it can create:
• Risk around insurance and liability
• Disruption of trust
• Ethical conflicts that compromise the integrity of care and the model of the business and other businesses involved.
Our commitment to clients
At Therapeutic Bodywork, we are committed to:
• Upholding ethical business practices
• Maintaining clear and honest communication
• Ensuring that all services booked through our practice are delivered within appropriate professional boundaries
• Protecting the integrity of the therapeutic relationship
If you ever have questions about your care, the business structure, or where a session is being provided, we encourage open communication. Transparency supports trust, and trust supports healing.
We look forward to continuing this work together in the year ahead—offering care that is grounded, intentional, and aligned with the highest professional standards.
Thank you for being part of a practice that values ethical care, open communication, and mutual respect.
With strong professionalism and integrity,
Pauline
